Jays Hitting in the Last Homestand
The Blue Jays recent homestead saw them win 6 out of 10, playing four games against the Red Sox, three with the Astros, and closing it out with the Yankees.
Over the timeframe hitting was mixed. Perhaps the most encouraging was Bo Bichette hitting 11/40 over that time period, for a 0.275 clip, with 3 triples and 2 home runs helping to bring him to a 0.810 OPS over the time period. As well, he knocked in 8 runs, more than any of the other players listed below — certainly aided by the grand slam he hit during this period. While he was still at a 0.239 average and a 0.632 OPS at the end of the homestead, he is hopefully trending up.
George Springer, Matt Chapman and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. all knocked in 5 runs, with Springer and Chapman hitting 3 home runs, and Vladdy hitting 1.
